A Nightmare on Elm Street Definitely Felt Like That

If I was an emoticon kinda guy, I would have put a frowney face after that title. But I'm not, so I didn't. But the movie still sucked. I will give it two things thought: 1) Visually, it looked real good. They did their job with that part. And B) Jackie Earle Haley was pretty awesome as Freddy. He didn't seem to have as much screen time as I thought he would be and he kinda mumbled like Rorschach at times but he was still pretty awesome.
It's just a shame that they had to cast such shitty actors in it. The writing was pretty bad too, but ya kind of expect that in a movie like this. I guess you kind of expect bad acting too. I guess I just figured that they would try to do something that wasn't already done in all the other versions of it. Which means good acting and good writing. Oh well. I suppose they still have time to look up Death Machine. (seriously, that's a horrible movie and you should try to watch it. I dare ya)

  1. That sucks. I was hopin' they'd get it right. The Freddy movies are about the only slasher flicks I like.

  2. I think I'll stick to watching Human Target to get my dose of Jackie Earle Haley. . . does that sound like I have a gay man-crush on Jackie Earle Haley? . . . If it didn't than that did huh?
