Jennifer BloodGarth Ennis is the brilliantly violent writer of the amazing comic Preacher and Punisher (one of the older runs, not the current one). He is currently over at Dynamite writing a book called Jennifer Blood about an assassin who is also a plain jane housemother. While I have been less than impressed with the first six issues, I was struck by the beach balls on the cover to seven, which hits the shelves tomorrow. Apparently big apples such as these are what helps sell Ennis books now-a-days. I kinda miss Irish vampires...
